There's this Malay/German guy I know from the 80s,
who handcrafted his own Ibanez Musician, called Afiz.

A really talented craftsman, but I've lost contact with him
for some years.

He also made the boxes and etched the circuits for a
distortion effect which I found in an electronic magazine.

He could have easily made a living as a luthier, but he
never went into it. Should be in his early 60s now.
