Hi pros. I like to ask I hav a PS3 and I output it from a cheap cable HDMI to DVI output to my computer monitor. I like to noe since I started to use the HDMI to DVI it will blankout sometimes and it will also appear a screen like a TV without channel or didn't received the channel, i dunno wat tat call is like a lot of dot. Can I know y is this happen and how can I solve this problem?

Maybe u can try borrow a different cable from a fren to see whether the problem came from the cable itself

i dont think my fren hav this kind of prob, i guess they r all using HDMI ---> HDMI output since all of them rich and able to support on the TV

I meant borrow their HDMI cable, and use a HDMI to DVI converter for your monitor. See how's the result, if everything's ok, then sth shud be wrong with your cable. If problem still persist, u might wanna check monitor settings

nope my monitor dont support full HD, but tat time I'm not running full HD game either, tat time I'm running 720p game

oic, but i dont hav hdmi converter, i bought the cable tat is directly converted, HDMI --> DVI

just go to Tesco buy its HDMI cable...only Rm19.90...now you can test it out..

hehe..

One thing you should kow abt ay HDMI to DVI conversion, its a hit and miss thing...

i have a HDMI cable, but my TV owned by my parents, my 23inch Monitor let my bro owned, left a old 19inch monitor so i have to use HDMI --> DVI conversion cable.
