Theoretically it's not a credit card, so not need the RM50 GST.
It's an overdraft with card's facility. At least that's how they are going to sell it. That is why interest starts from day 1 you used the money either via check, ATM or swiping. |

QUOTE(whitemouse1314 @ Nov 14 2010, 03:53 PM) The interest rate for RC are 0.05% per daily basis on outstanding balance. 0.05% daily = 18.25% pa daily rest.Anyone who interested to know more about this Ready Credit(RC) can pm me your contact number and i will contact u guys to explain for it.BTW,i am staff from citibank this is purely like cc cash advance rate. not even close to overdraft which base on BLR. skip. |

IMO, it'll attract ppl whom are credit hungry and in need of quick cash. Maybe that's why they put the interest so high, because its very high risk product and I foresee a higher default rate even higher than personal loan which cuerrently the industry is runnning at a higher default rate compared to credit cards

Thanks for reminding, just checked, mine also more than 1 year, so can terminate. Please confirm no charges when you get your final statement etc. But I also wonder, since it have no annual fee/tax, why not keep just for emergency...?

I'm an ex citibanker. Definitely the interest is higher than credit card, mostly likely 19% per annum.

Hi, but this is "overdraft" right?I received an offered email from citibank sales officer, I am confused. Loan Amount : RM 10000 Interest rate : 6.56 % flat rate p.a Tenor : Min ½ years / Max 3 years Monthly : Min RM 331.67 Why look like Personal Loan instead of overdraft? Do I need to paid every month? By the way, this amount not satisfy me. |
