Facebook for Android 1.4.0, Getting errors

Hi, i've just saw a new update for facebook on android so i updated it... now the problem is i cannot retrieve notifications... it says cannot retrieve the notifications. bla bla bla [604/your statement is not indexable bla bla bla... help!!! I tried restarting and it doesn't help... i tried relogging and it doesn't help...

Go to settings -> applications -> manage applications -> facebook
Clear data and cache. |

The cache says 0.00B, no clear data only uninstall updates...

maybe u should be patient a bit. at 1st i get error message. but after a while of loading.. is working fine already...
or uninstall the old version and install the new one. |

its still not ok with my eclair...
I wanna root my damn phone to froyo... eclair giving me shyt loads of problem... especially the annoying sms arrangement issue.. |
