hey people, just in case u have a damaged power button like me, u dont have to go down to singapore to get the replacement. u can go to sis dist in imbi, apparently after calling them they ONLY stock replacement nexus one power buttons. They are willing to fix all nexus one's that are not under their warranty but at a fee of almost rm200. so theres an alternative to going down to sg. http://www.htc.com/sea/support/customer_care.htmloh btw, i am looking to buy a replacement for the battery cover.it's badly scratched. anywhere in malaysia i can find it?thanks

QUOTE(wacko @ Mar 21 2011, 09:36 PM) how come its a hardware defect when N1 can power on/off as usual when i roll it back to 2.2.2? Again when my N1 is on 2.3.3 the power on button is a permanent problem????? Added on March 21, 2011, 9:39 pmI can bet anyone N1 owners who is still on 2.3.3 gonna experience power button issue. Its all about timing. Some unit did happen right after update..some few weeks later. But so long as google people out there just sit down doing nothing..your time will come. apparently some owners are experiencing this power button failure upon update but only a few, however most of the power failure issues were already nested before gingerbread rolled out, including mine. chances are if it coincided with the update it is a bug. but if it happens gradually over time (deteriorated use), its almost always a hardware failure.if such refer to my post in page 20 for solutions. QUOTE(mysql2779 @ Sep 19 2011, 01:13 PM) Do you guys have solutions for GPS fix with N1 CM7.1.0 RC1 ? I tried to edit the GPS.conf in system/etc with root explorer. But still cant fix. And I used FasterFix.apk and edit my pool to my.pool still not working. i used to have a similar problem but it was resolved when i subscribed to a data plan. the AGPS downloaded with an internet connection tremendously aids in gps locking. i have used fasterfix before n i can safely say that agps is far superior. one way of checking how recent your agps data is by using GPS Status from market. Basically the more recent your agps data, the faster ur phone will lock in the gps. QUOTE(DokuMart @ Sep 21 2011, 12:23 PM) after updates of some applications, my phone went so slow and battery consuming even without using it... =( on CM 7.1.0-RC1-N1 u guys experience anything similiar? have u checked the battery usage? how's ur phone signal during that period? care to post some pix of ur batt usage?
