dunno why lar...luckily N900 performs alright but still not an OS is as liquid-smooth as IOS till date...
Accelerometer rotate photos, Iphone slightly faster but on some cases N900 got it faster than Iphone...I'm really impressed...
and sweeping through photos, Iphone win straight...constantly sweeping will cause the images to load before shown on N900 but Iphone...constant viewing of image...takes less than a sec to be clear...
haih...IOS is still the smoothest OS I have seen till date

Hmm..I have yet to suscribe to a data plan (either tomorrow or the day after) but don't you have a limit or something? If left on 24/7 you'll definitely exceed the limit of the data plan. I know Digi's is unlimited, but the Maxis one I'm planning to get has a 3GB limit monthly >_<

Any Maxis mobile data plan users here who can share info if it's possible to exceed the limit if the connection is left on 24/7?

the 3units i seldom use, just use for trying the sensitivity of game.. current one on pocket is working fine.. one of the 3 units at home abit delay sometimes when press from menu to application.
what is so funny?

1.5x faster then ARM11....if compare SGS to N8 clock to clock SGS=1.5ghz N8=680mhz(ARM11 standard)....i saw many ppl hack their SGS till 1.2ghz...imagine the distance of speed..rabbit vs tortoise...somemore android is linux based.symbian ar......N8 is my last device for symbian.no more.WP7 just disappoint me too much like iDontCare does.waiting for meego and gingerbread now

yeah..with that money...I don't even need to go for N8 for camera...go for DSLR plus Desire HD, Ipod Touch or whatever but not 4x N8

It's not that hard really.All you need is the phone,sd card,the proper guide(available at meego forum) & guts.
It's bit laggy because of outdated GPU driver.Also v 1.1 contain only basic functions such as phone,sms,browser etc2.
I've tested v 1.1.80 which is release candidate for v 1.2(the consumer ready MeeGo) but the overall OS is simply far from ready.
But recently the MeeGo for N900 project leader demoed his latest build & I have to say the whole OS seems very smooth.
Although the OS is beta but there no major crash that cause hardware defect or whatsoever unlike N8.

In NITDroid case we will be getting a fully working phone functions Android for N900 soon.I feel vanilla android suits N900 just nice.Installing the OS inside the eMMC seems to give the OS major performance boost.I'll give it a try soon.

On webOS side,thank god for the port!Finally I have bunch of excellent games to play.

since its already clarified.. why dont they make it now? multitouch... supported with X10mini but not x10mini pro.. luckily i bought x10 mini..

However Timo Maassmann over at the SE Blog has confirmed that the X10 Mini will not support multi touch and neither will the X10 Mini Pro. If it were enabled it would “destroy the simplicity” of using them.

He also goes on to say, that the interface has been designed to make one handed use, as easy as possible. Four corner shortcuts are included in the features of the phone, as well as being able to zoom in and out of photos using your thumb.
