i know....i am just saying some of them are beyond what N8 can do, like the Wan Tan Mee one...and the Crispy Chicken Rice also the color like a bit too vibrant...that's why i would say that there's a possibility of slight shopping...just pointing our my suspicious lar..
personally i do hope the exif data would be present also..might not benefit me, but i am sure it would help a lot of people here

woi bro, is it my wan tan mee?

not Nex-3 la...not that pro, just LX-3 nia...cant change lens geh...
for me i never really touch the manual settings on phone, ui know it's there but most the time i don really need to touch it to produce some 'ok ok' quality picture...if i want excellent quality there's always LX-3 for me to rely on..that's why i never explore on that...
i believe you disabled the picture download for your Flickr also right? if you enable the download, would it be able to properly show the data?

and as for macro...i recall normally cameras determine focus point with contrast differences(to determine distance)...maybe there are some way to trick the autofocus into thinking the focus object is farther away then it is...dunno...like i said, only used for 1 week or so..
*
Ive learned from other members of flickr users to disable it to prevent unauthorized use of your photos so if anything happen in future i have the EXIF to proof i am the owner of the photos. If u are interested do add me in flickr i will be glad to give u access to it for your viewing pleasure.

Camera i always love to play with manual setting because after u get a hang of it next time you roughly know what's the right setting to compensate the right lighting.

Nokia N900 Fcam macro is 5cm away so i was pretty annoyed Nokia N8 macro is 10cm. After few testing i realize you can trick it but depending on the object too.

Hope that clarify your misunderstanding or confusion.

Sample of macro i love from Nokia N900 Fcam

Do you mean "focus lock" technique?
N8 macro is pretty hard to get "green" focus ESPECIALLY in low light. What you can do is apply "focus lock" technique somewhere brighter or something that can be focus easily; The problem is the exposure and also the the distance when you go back to the subject you want to capture.

just for everyone reference the N8 when u select CloseUp mode it will try to get focus from far to near... so in case we all know the N8 have minimum 10cm macro focus then once u unable to get focus after the long half press just manual BRING your camera to about 10cm to the items u would like to snap and it would be SHARP and in FOCUS... nod.gif

A bit tiring after a few shots. Maybe I am not so xiao photographers like you guys but I do respect the N8 especially after my previous 5800XM. But then again, the speakers on the 5800XM greatly outperforms the N8. Guess you can never win all the time.

Yawwwnnn.... gud night. C u guys tomorrow afternoon. Have an early tee off time tomorrow morning.
