for info the file already installed on shared folder in common files.. but cannot been detect by bbsak..why ha?

Hi.

This is probably a very lame and stupid question to ask but I am just wondering if I were to update my OS (currently using .681), will all my third party apps get wiped off as well?

you can always do backup of all your apps and contact. the easiest way is using BBSAK for backing up apps.

Its a BETA version from RIM, so whenever you are on BETA OS and you plug into Desktop Manager it will automatically prompt for update if there is newer BETA version that you are using now...
