My dream setup would be..

This AWESOME Guitar

I've been a guitar player since puberty and that's a long time ago.. started out with a Kapok and one song "I started a joke" G-BM-C-D7.   
Fast forward to 2007, I got a PRS Modern Eagle, couple of Fenders, Godins, Tacomas, Takamine, Gibson L5 (scavenged) etc and just got myself a TC Electronics G-System which I'm running with an MXR Dist+, Sansamp Classic, TS808 Reissue into a Handmade Valve Amp (no brand, my dad got a builder to make the head in the US) which drives a Celestion 30W Vintage 12" cabinet. I have a perpetual GAS and have been through countless amps, guitars and pedals. As with most of u on the forum, I'm still looking for the dream setup and one of the best amps I'd ever owned is the Mesa Boogie Subway Blues, too bad it is sitting idle cos there're some problems with the circuit board (cracking noises all the time, not due to the valves, I had them changed).

Godin ACS, Fender 70's Coronado (ES-335 copy by Fender), 50's gibson Jazz Archtop (rebuilt by my dad), 90's Tacoma Acoustic, rare 80's Ovation Black Death Metal Guitar (rare becos nobody bought 'em), 90's Hohner Steinberger Licensed Headless Guitar (ya the one with the head chopped off at the centre top of the pic above the monitor speaker), 70's and 80's P-Basses, the amps under cover Fender Twin Amp Reissue and AER Acoustic Amp.

Some not in the pic - NI Guitar Rig. Assorted Boss Pedals for Bass (OD, Chorus, Octaver, EQ), Sansamp DI for Bass, Dunlop 535Q Wah, 80's Peavey Chorus Pedal (real crappy and noisy), late 40's Sheffield Jazz Archtop, Tacoma Papoose,  '82 Takamine Classical, Pignose Guitar with built-in amp and speaker (yes!), Vox 15W Amp, Fender Acoustisonic Amp, and my beloved Mesa Boogie Subway Blues Amp (sent to Ceriatone for repair). Also, Line 6 FloorPOD, Samson Wireless Guitar Bug and some other bits and pieces of gear collected over the years..

Does the EC strat has the sound that the EC we use to hear him playing...Does it has the Clapton Wiring to increase the mid's in the tone output??

Yes it had - the TBX Tone Control but I took it out together with the Lace Sensors and put in a set of Texas Specials. Reason was because the TBX controller kaput and I could'nt get any replacement for it then.. I never did find any use for the mid-boost when I had 'em in the guitar anyway.. so.. this guitar I got it fitted with the Buzz Feiton tuning last year (Guitar Store) and it sounds great and stays tuned all the way up to the 30th fret

Anyway one of my 'stratoclone' will wanna have that TBX mod for a bit more feel when playing Clapton songs....hehehehe...One SX now have succesfull in being an inverteredly magnet to get the out of phase ala Peter Green...

i bought a TBX tone control from bentley, this was about 4yrs ago?
if not mistaken was about RM25.

btw, i wouldnt mind trying that pignose guitar.
and if you do decide to sell it off, you know who to look for
