1) Seriously try rebooting again..
2) Try askin your friend what he did.
3) repost and ask question again.

After run

mkdir -p /home/var/lib
mv /var/lib/apt /home/var/lib
ln -s /home/var/lib/apt /var/lib
mv /var/lib/dpkg /home/var/lib
ln -s /home/var/lib/dpkg /var/lib
mkdir -p /home/var/cache
mv /var/cache/apt /home/var/cache
ln -s /home/var/cache/apt /var/cache

Josh your post missing -P parameter for mkdir command on the 2nd mkdir. Around 4% = 8MB clear. Here is output i get

i rebooted 5 times d and i ask him he also dunno.. i let a noob phone user friend play.. haizzz

you got reboot or not.
if yes try the removing battery for 5 min and then reinsert the battery again..(never tried this method usually i see a lot of forumers suggest this)

BTW if none work manual flash will settle ur nightmare i guess.

Restarting all okay?

Yeah 4% is a big difference. The libraries are always the biggest part in root more with the more apps installed.

The moveroot script still works like a charm though but do use with care...

he just say he clicked something that can adjust app here and there.. i tried remobe batt 5 to 10 for 3 times d no use... haiz... i duwanna format again need reinstall everything..

Ok most likely your menu file is corrupted.

Using Putty go into your phone's terminal and delete the hildon.menu file

CODE
rm -f /home/user/.config/menus/hildon.menu


After you reboot, it should regenerate the original file. Hope this helps wink.gif

Well I used it many times with no problems. Freed up about 10%, basically it moves the nokia maps stuff and local information. However the coution is that for some moving the locales results in a broken UI cause the locale info is missing.
