Try to make the MAG GUN movements sychronous with the game view movements, this is an relatively ideal state to get a better performance.

If you check on Sony Move Sharp Shooter gun, thier design and function is quite similiar to mag gun design. Don't know how responsive for the Move gun attachment but Mag gun can support both console and support all existing FPS games. |
