Just would like to share my own real experience with Vees Delicooker in summary.
Take your own risk if you want to buy this product. Before you buy everything they tell will be very nice to hear, German technology, warranty, no explosion problem like gas stove, smart cooker with timer, compatible with all types of pots, best customer service is their most concern, unlimited free home party, zero interest installment to convince you pleasantly. One more thing they will not tell you it needs the 15 amp powerpoint until you realized it yourself when the product deliver to your doorstep. You need to change the socket to round holes plug point. When you receiving your product they will only recommend you to buy 3 Vees v-wipe Multi-Purpose Cleaner at cost RM150 for cleaning purpose and free 1 piece of Schott CeraQuick Cleaning Scraper worth RM28.
Yeap everything can be happened if gas stove or even such expensive electric stove German technology that they have claimed it so smart and good.
Honestly my new Delicooker was exploded in their sale office last weekend when we tested it out. We never use that cooker before because we can't even turn it on at home. Every time we try it at home then the whole house power was tripped. We have been keeping it for few months because of this reason until we feel what if their product faulty? That was why we brought it to our nearest branch to test it. The sale person plug the Delicooker adapter to the round holes socket on the wall, the moment he turn it on the Delicooker itself exploded and shocked us.
We are requesting them to replace a new unit but they have rejected us after few attempt. Hey that unit is totally new, we never ever get chance to turn it on! We tried to follow up with the sale person but she didn't answer the phone call and don't even reply our sms. We went to the branch again and we have to tell the story again and again to different person but helpless at the end too.
With 3k budget as consumer we actually could have many choices.
What will you do if this happen to you after pay 3k? Never get to use it, when incident happen they don't seem really perform their "best customer service" to make you feel comfortable and trust their product. It was exploded in their sale office and now requests a new unit they have rejected and try convince you saying will repair and give it back to you. Will you accept?
Think twice for wise decision before you buy something good for yourself and good luck.
Induction hob, safe & good to use?
