Are there any servers that give better latency? I just got back to Wow a few days ago and I got about 400-500ms latency around 11pm-2am but my chars are on a US server, Lightning's Blade. Is there any server I can go to to get better latency or they don't make any difference? At the moment, Wow is pretty much not playable during the day at 800-11000++ latency.

erm...not to advertise but i just came back to wow also after quit 2 year, i done my own routing last time but unfortunately thank to streamyx even i do own routing still sux so i tried on gamepath and now im getting 300 to 500 connection, i tried if without gathpath i get 10K+ and if i tried my own routing getting 1k to 2K MS.

ur latency is kind of good.

game path is the biggest piece of shit i ever use in my life "not to advertise" i rather kill my self then use game path ever again.

Maybe thats because you havent been connecting to the right gates?

Or perhaps your connection was horribly crap that gamepath wouldnt have helped?

Actually, my latency gets much worse in instances right now, like 3k+. I don't even want to know how bad it will get in a raid and I'm the main tank!!

for the tunneling u can try their trial first and see which one best for ya, as for me i recommend ping2pwn

well u can try out "pingfaster" i think they are still in beta, so free server

else i am using lagless at the moment quite smooth so far average abt 220-250ms
but it cost abt RM11 per month

random spike occurs sometimes, but so far so good

idk about other service, but im using lowerping
playing from sydney 160ms in dalaran
without it, i usually get 380ms

im using ping2pwn..average around 350ms..sometimes dc

im using pingfaster with unifi

216ms and never dc unless friends log into account w/o telling

Yah.. using Pingfaster atm. So far, its been very stable and I'm getting latency around 250-350 which is pretty good. Thx for the suggest.

Not to advertise also. :-) hmm.. play taiwan server if u knew chinese, 70 - 150 ms.. Raid around 100 - 200 ms. And no need to buy cd key also. Check out the post at my signature below for more details.

i have no idea what you have been through but so far i been testing it for 1 week +, my latency around 200 to 300ms but sometime might get 400 to 500ms which much more better than my own connection 10k + T_T

gamepath is stable, but it is a pay service, and there are other free tunneling service out there that can sometimes par with the gamepath service.

i have an account with about 2 1/2 months left of sub for the game path going to let that stupid thing rot and never go back there again rather pay more expansive else way

OK, so it seems Blizz started locking accounts when they see different IPs logging onto the same account. But when using pingfast, some servers give better latency at different times (less/more people?). Any ideas how to get around this?

Starcraft II SEA host in Singapore and it fail miserably. I doubt Blizz will host WOW here.
