QUOTE(UE7 @ Nov 4 2010, 09:40 AM) I'd like to ask another question, sorry for the noobness. if u ask my opinion..I've seen LCs around with stock gold wheels, but have rear brake systems fitted to them. So, my question is: Is it possible to install a rear brake kit on a LC, keeping stock wheels? But with whatever necessary modifications carried out, of course. i rather simpan that ori rim.. then i buy new rim buy RB or else brand.. because.. the ori rim u can get around rm300-400 if u sell.. that rm300-400 u can already buy new rim 8 / 3 batang rim that can just PnP disk brake system on rear.. Added on November 4, 2010, 2:49 pm QUOTE(mr_habuk @ Nov 4 2010, 11:14 AM) i've already installed it from a brand name 'speed power' IINM..but kindly regret it abit.. about this. IINM.. i had lowered down my fork around 1 inch.coz u had to sacrifice your original rim since it need to drill a hole for the safety lock... but performance is wise... btw guys, i was thinking on lowering down the front fork..but been advised not to... coz the pomen said, the front nose will gonna hit the mudguard..is it true..?? anyone with front fork lowered has experienced this..?? TQ.. and its oke for me until now. didnt touch mudguard unless u hit a hole. u can juz lowered ur fork. below 1inch already good.. Added on November 4, 2010, 2:53 pm QUOTE(sleerpy @ Nov 4 2010, 11:15 AM) budakmentah@this one.. [attachmentid=1867484] coverset protection when falling? can hold the set from scratch? this accessories ar.u can always find them at any spare parts shop.. u can also find it at any moto shop.. IINM.. before this i wan buy these accesories.. price around rm60-80 but i just buy the V horn.. its still the same for me.. if u get fall.. it still makes some scratch on ur front coverset.. better u juz buy good tyre to give u better ride. p/s.. since im using racing footrest.. my back coverset never get scratch when ever i fall.. juz front take the damages.. Added on November 4, 2010, 2:54 pm QUOTE(skyz91 @ Nov 4 2010, 12:24 PM) i never experienced any kind of this situation..so cant help u.. mybe there are other ppl can help u Added on November 4, 2010, 2:59 pm QUOTE(pooky @ Nov 4 2010, 09:39 AM) hmmm my LC got no clutch....rasa nak tambah lak... its oke to install clucth system on ss lc..is it illigal?...ye la kan masa beli mula2 takde clutch.. but the feels will not the same as es lc.. u still can masuk gear without pressing the clutch.. for me.. its just give u better riding when u taking corner.. and also when u wanna rev ur bike when u saw cute girl.. gearing position?
u mean how to change gear? if that u mean.. the gear position still same.. unless u use racing footrest like RB one.. it will vice versa.. if u use normal footrest.. to change gear.. u juz need to step down.. but.. when u use RB racing footrest.. it will change to upward SS lc normal footrest - gear 1,2,3,4 - down RB footrest - gear 1,2,3,4 - up ES lc normal footrest - same as 125z. gear 1 down, 2,3,4 up RB footrest - gear 1 up, 2,3,4 down. |

QUOTE(Aaron135LC @ Nov 5 2010, 08:29 PM) ohh.... yea... i can see just in the pic.. ur leg almost ht the road ade... here the theories that i learnt n abit from my readings.actually got any tips on how to almost go lower the road ar..? sometimes we need to lower the bike ourself... but how..? i never properly go down... cause dunno how on a kapcai... 1 - u must have confidence.. without confidence u cant do it.. dont afraid to get fall.. its will teach u to bcome much better.. learn from mistakes.. 2 - ur bike condition.. as u know.. the more lower ur bike.. the stabil it will be.. use a good tyre.. such as 90/80.. its abit wider n abit lower.. 3 - move ur a*s when u do cornering.. dun feel shy..move half of ur a*s to the side when u taking corner.. and also.. try to open wide u leg.. 4 - press ur front brake about 30-40%.. if u got the skill n confidence.. u will no need to press brake when meleper.. 5 - when take corner.. u must use suitable gear.. in order to get a suitable speed.. when u takes corner.. u cant too slow neither too fast.. later u get fall.. my advise.. do a normal ride on the corner.. then do measured the suitable speed n gear.. 6 - lastly.. sure u need to noted about ur safety 1st.. if can.. wear a racing suit.. if can.. full racing suit.. i hav seen ppl wear that alphinestar jacket n using knee pad.. he fall when take corner n get dislocated shoulder.. that on track.. QUOTE(Are_keem @ Nov 6 2010, 09:55 AM) but guys, please, please and please avoid yourself from meleper / main lap on public road. unless you're 100% sure that road has no traffic, then never try to show your skill at the wrong place or you might end up like this : ya.. this accident happen same time as i go genting..» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « also got one of my friends went overshoot on a corner during our trip to a waterfall here last year. the bike end up in longkang just like the bike above with almost 80% damage on the front, broken rims, etc but luckily the rider only got a deep cut under his knees due to hitting a reflector on the road's railing. that's because he wore fullface helmet, padded jacket and gloves. i think if he also wore knee pad on that day, surely he'll escaped unhurt at all. im aware about the dangerous.. so now saving money to play at track.. cost about rm70 for 1 whole day.. |
