Are the games region lock?

Added on November 1, 2010, 2:52 pmSeriously, it's dirt cheap.

That RM25 you spent for TF2 will be the best thing you ever bought.

But why spend RM25 for TF2 when you can get OB for RM45.

Wait...
Do TF2 retail still have pins?

They're all a steal really. Though, I'd wager that either TF2 or L4D2 offer the biggest value.

The retail pack is off course region locked.

And you can come during the event day to buy. The offer is still in effect.

Thanks, and i do hope e-Club will put a note or something about region lock.

I have friends who bought retail and could not play the game when they are overseas.

This will be a good chance to teach everyone what true FPS should be instead of those online FPS with item mall to buy overpowered guns

It's stated clearly on the box, not for sale outside of SEA.

problem is, frags, some of the time (and in these particular instances i think it is indeed the case) those guys are just temporarily there, like students and such. while it is stated that the games are not for sale outside of the region, its not well advertised that even if you own them here, and just happen to be there for a bit, you lose your access.

That is secondary. When I click on TF2, I know I'm in need of LULZ & something to get all those gloomy clouds out of my head.

Yeah but people should be knowledgeable enough these days to understand how this region lock thing works. It's not just a video games thing. It's a software thing. Vendors sell region specific software all the time. Some people think about taking advantage of this and buy games not meant for their region to save money. When it has problems they claim ignorance.

Sure, there are people who genuinely don't know.
