Ya, I love this rig dude, the ventilation rocks ass!! XD

Now that I'm still using the Studio 1555, I feel like having a newer laptop so much!! =(

The Studio 1555 is always hot on the top corner left of the lappy, not comfy =/

I wanted to check out Shift 2 & Dragon Age 2, but I still haven't get them yet, sigh..

I did some googling here and there. It seems that 0xc000005 is an application error. Guys that are familiar with registry area, can go into it and just edit it themselves but mostly fix it by clean installing the application. So that's what I'm doing, clean installing. However I did note that, I needed to click YES to rundll to run hon everytime -__-

lonelywolf - yea that black screen thing happened to me to.

Ya,Dell used to b my top choice, but now all I c is just d great warranty service, it's expensive.. My Studio 1555 costs RM4k, omg.. Imagine the contrast between the 1555 to the new MSI GT680. Difference in price is only RM1k+ @_@

Since it's for MSI users only, I won't be able to go, I'm not a MSI user, my bro is =/

Speaking about games, Shift 2 would rock so much! I played the Hot Pursuit and boy, am I impressed with the gameplay, graphics and effects, cool!! =)

Hhmm, Dragon Age is almost like that, something like Diablo & Neverwinter Nights?

hahaha..well..some may think it's only 1k..others..1k is a big gap..but then if me..the way i tink is..i shud settle for a higher end laptop that can last me mch longer with good specs than to use a lower spec laptop that will last me for 1 year+? lol

i LOVE hot pursuit..it's really good..enjoy collecting all the NFS series lol

never try..though when i see my friend play it sure seems a lil like fallout tongue.gif

Hi guys, any feedback/comment for MSI GE620(i7+GT540+8GB), better than ASUS N53SN(i7+GT550+4GB)? thinking to buy tomorrow on PC Fair...

biggrin.gif thats me....

looking at GT550 it's a little bit powerful than GT540 but the ASUS only has 4GB RAM,, should the the 8GB RAM offset the difference between GT540 and GT550?

Nope, gaming is still limited by the GPU, not RAM, having more RAM won't give better FPS in gaming when you already have the sufficient amount..

base on FPS..it's just a lil difference..not very noticeable..and no..having more ram wont make it better.

anyway, what's your main reason on getting this laptop? for gaming? for video editing/photoshopping? if a lil bit of here n there..i would take gt540..the extra ram would be better when it comes to rendering or editing heavy photos and stuff

and also do u think u need tat xtra ram? tongue.gif

Dear all, to flash my bios I need an MS-DOS usb drive according to MSI-MY. However, I can't seem to format my pendrive to be a MS-DOS drive. Anyone knows how?
