i have good and bad news....

1st, i got mine a new torch 9800 from one of the Telco Center to replace my old 9700 which i will give to my gf. --> that was a good news!

unfortunately, after a few hours charging, my new phone still dead! --> that was a very bad news...!!!

it displayed red battery with "X" symbol.... (what does it means?...)

i tried battery pull a few times but still no progress and the loading white lines is only half and stuck!!... huhuhuhuuu

so, what should i do??... going back to replace new one or waiting them to service my phone which i will not compromise to wait anymore...!!

the worst is i have to wait until Wednesday because today (Tuesday) whole Johor will be public holiday for Hol Day of Sultan....

i think so....
mayb i would like to replace whole set, not only the battery.... huhuhuhuuu....

yEAHH...! After making some negotiation between the sales guy and his Big Boss, finally i have replaced my Torch with new set...!!

btw, just 1Q, do we really need to wipe our device (using BBSAK) before installing new update OS? I plan to replace my factory setting OS from .284 to .337 tonite. Anyone? Bro dickson?

I did with my 9700 before, so i just need a confirmation. thanks....

go to option -> typing and input -> typing -> then set Virtual Keyboard Style from current setting to Direct setting

Once u connect ur phone using USB cable, there will be 3 options;

USB drive -> to transfer data by using explorer or BDM
Sync Media -> sync ur phone data using BDM
Charge only -> only for charging

Somehow, all options will automatically charging ur phone without any setting.
Just redo the process either to check if there is any fault or not to ur cable or device as well.

im currently on OS.4.50
imo, it is most stable os i ever used.
no bugs as my observation almost 2 months rite now...
just waiting for latest hybrid.....

ermm... just typical bb lag. (becoz of its processor i thought... dats why cannot beat iphone...) nothing more, nothing less...

overall very satisfied...

for me, im just using standard bb themes... mayb becoz im a guy...
