Anybody from JB area that knows whether the Molek or Tebrau City branches have the Torch in stock?

Call DiGi customer services in the afternoon, the guy said that he doesn't know whether the branches got stock or not. Then I asked him whether he has the number for the branches, he said they don't entertain phone calls then I went >.> .

In the end I found the numbers in the DiGi website. Some of them didn't pick up the calls, the ones that did pick up, said that they didn't have stock.

Got my Torch! But it's from Maxis but not too bad I guess.

How do I join the 9800 Group? Anyone have the QR code for me to scan?

Celcom's BIS Lite has a 1GB Quota IIRC. Can't help much in terms of coverage and stuff since I'm not using it.

As for Maxis it's RM55 for 500MB but if you sign up for contract you'll get an additional 500MB which brings up to a total of 1GB for the entire duration of your contract. It'll revert back to 500MB after your contract.

In terms of coverage you'll have to check it from their website.

IIRC = If I Recall Correctly. Celcom offers 1GB quota for their BIS Lite plan. Maxis offers 500MB for their RM55 BIS Plan, but they will give you an additional 500MB if you sign a contract for that RM55 plan thus a total of 1GB also.

The difference would lie in the monthly commitment which is RM118 for Celcom and RM105 (RM50 Voice + RM55 BIS) for Maxis.

DiGi is RM68 (Data) + RM10 (BIS) + <Amount you used for calls and SMS>.

Unlimited usage but once your quota hits 3GB they will throttle down to GPRS speeds.

Desire HD is running Android not Windows Mobile if I assume that's what WM stands for lol.

The Windows Phone 7 OS has a lot of potential also. Thinking of getting it after the I get the playbook next year hopefully.

That's the convenience key. Default it is set to Camera, and also you need to press on it harder. It has two stages just like a normal camera button nowadays but the 1st stage doesn't do anything, you have to press harder to go to 2nd stage before it'll respond.

Autofocus on the Torch is always on, so there's no need to hold the button at the first stage to focus like cameras. Just hit the take picture button on the screen, optical trackpad or the convenience key to take a picture.

EDIT : One question, guys I'm thinking of upgrading my Torch to .337 using Taiwan Mobile's OS files but they have a 150MB OS which includes Chinese but I assume they don't include Japanese and a 180MB OS which has Japanese but no Chinese Input. So the question is can I have both?

lol I see. I downloaded the Taiwan 150MB and already updated to that.

There's also the latest BDHP V5.0 from doubleback for OS6 and OS5 available. Just released on Wednesday this week.
