I just cracked my screen. Now it looks bad but the touch function is still okay. Went to brightstar today they say I need to chang the housing for the crack screen which cost 550. Any other options? Sending to sg takes 1 month

Whats the difference between digitizer or screen?

My phone , the only crack part is the most outer screen. I can still use the touch screen and everything like usual. Its just that the crack on the outermost layer of the screen.

Although if i change without going to Brightstar for the screen change. Will it void my warranty?? Just asking since i still have 1 year left for warranty.

Ive checked again after some research on youtube. Confirmed my digitizer is cracked.
Although i can say that the digitizer isnt covered in warranty for brightstar. Thats why i wanna see if i go outside shops to replace the digitizer will it void my warranty. Since the warranty seal is right on top of the screw holes.

Send to brightstar for a new one just tell them so suddenly it doesnt work.

Im guessing your Digitizer must have been fried or something. rm550 from Brightstar if u go to them

Did you by chance , restart your phone when your phone hangs? It tends to do that and dmges your memcard. When your phone is stick try to give it time. it will recover in due time. Ive had it few times and now ive learned to backup my files per weekly.

Also firmware .448 alot of bugs.. hangs alot.. damn it..
