QUOTE(AaronCCK @ Dec 4 2010, 07:29 PM)
Hi all,

Sorry dicksonbell for my previous post at inappropriate place.  sad.gif Do free to remove the previous post.

I would like to seek some advices regarding the wi-fi connection in Blackberry Torch 9800.

I bought a BB torch 9800 yesterday. Unluckily, it seems my phone is having problem to connect to internet via Wireless network. Is the BB torch required additional application for that? Or maybe there are some configurations to be done? (I followed all the instruction written in the smaller booklet, provided by BB, yet it is not working).

Meanwhile, did anyone manage to get some applications that can monitor the data use?

Your time and replies are much appreciated.

Does it means when I am connected to BIS in Wi-Fi zone area, BB would choose Wi-Fi as connection method, so it wouldn't use up data?

You need BIS only you can connect to WiFi, a proper configured on Torch will enable you to used WiFi without consume Data charges.. On WiFi you can connect to Social Networking, i.e: BBM and other chatting...
