How many guys here you think have recollections of their dreams, if you can dream of the exact thing that happen, you must be a saint and should try to dream about winning lottery and see if it will come true. The time when your conscience tells you that you are dreaming is you already half waken and likely to fall back into sleeping again. You may not be who you think you are in a dream, that is the uniqueness of the term dream and people can make up creative stories because only god knows.

Uncontrolled dreams usually don't make sense, until similar occurrence happen in reality, you might thought it was a sign from god or the one who passed away. We attain self realization from dreams, all that we have been through will came in dreams and its how powerful the brain is, look at the way you type and it show how lightly you take this matter.

A person can tell that he or she is dreaming. Yes, this is not impossible. If I'm not mistaken, this is what lucid dreaming is all about.

i actually remember a fair bit of my dreams upon waking up, has been that way since i was a kid. sometimes before i drift of to sleep i will remember bit and pieces of the dreams i dreamt last night. i always thought it was because my consciousness was sinking down to sleep state and therefore reconnecting with the unconscious...or something like that laugh.gif

Sleep is for the physical body, the brain is like the heart that never stop recording and creating realms, memory is known to store as shapes, the computer has this human characteristics of short & long term memory, software too behave like us. Windows is user friendly following this algorithm,
the processing behavior of the sober brain.

We forgot because the memory shape lost, it is either not important or damaged, if you recall your dreams or memories often, they remains and maintained. We need control when awake but lost in ourselves in sleep, only part of our conscience are intact, if you know you are dreaming, I don't call it a dream, its you fooling yourself. In reality, we do fool ourselves to feel better, assume tomorrow will be better to believe in something whether they exist or not.

"Living lives as it is" is no dream and we could become extreme by chasing dreams.
