Between samsung mu6100 and sony x70e, which one is better guys? Already went to shop to compare, but still feel undecided  confused.gif

I think Samsung have more vivid colour, if you like that.
But seem clarity Sony did a good job.

Copy your favorite movie on a pendrive and go the shop and try both TV.
That way you can play actual movie to compare rather than their optimize demo.

Rtings x700e (equivalent US model) review is not out yet sadly.

Some ppl say IPS is more "natural"(?) color, however i find it abit washed out.

Anyways different ppl different taste.

I think this have to do with factory tuning and the processor capability.
I seen same panel on both LG and Sony, both perform very differently.

Thanks haruji & ngks for opinions, maybe I go with samsung since it's a lot cheaper but sony build quality really make me consider x70e  rclxub.gif

I realize one thing extra on Sony is that you can directly buy extended warranty from them, not from the electrical shop itself
I think the extended warranty price is much cheaper than major electrical shop.

Check the Rtings before for Q7F.
For me, I'm planning to buy somewhere in the middle, between the best and the affordable range. Coz TV for me not changing yearly type of device. So planning to get a good one with good features.

Few months back, I also posted about KU6000 from Sengheng here b4. For about RM2599 but I didnt resort to buy it as my new house is not ready yet and the shop dont wanna keep the stock for too long. Hence, didnt seal the deal.

Now my new house is almost ready in few weeks, so its bout time to get it. But no stocks for both KU6000 and KS7000 model.

I'm looking for 55" UHD with the best available feature whether at entry (RM2-3K) or middle price range (RM3-5K),
Slightly above middle/average (RM5-7K) and high range (RM8K ++) I'm not so kin. as these product price will depreciate eventually. Not really a budget constraint issue but more like I dont feel good to spend so much at the moment as house reno, furniture and other things is costing me a bomb or two edy.

Q7F did caught my attention is the "next generation" TV... but price... really dont feel syok to grab that. I dont mind getting it but personally deep down I would rather die die find a KU6000 or KS7000 or similar products and grab another laptop for gaming edy or use the money invest in a proper sound system or other stuff...

KU6000 HDR is just signal support but not actually can display it, panel limited.
KS7000 HDR is real and the panel can go upto 1000 nits, as HDR standard recommend

I have not tried 3D in my life except those days the red n blue comic type

i recently played a file which gave me the option of 3d or 2d, out of curiosity i picked 3D, it show left n right image
is this stereoscopic 3d? my tv shud be ku 5500 , is it possible for me to try out 3D?
any specific glasses i shud get?

Thanks again shifu

You can't, KU5500 can't play 3D, hardware limitation.
But now 3D going downhill, new 4K movie don't come in 3D

A pro just dropped by and give lesson XD

Anyways KS7000 seems to be struggling with playing 4k rip (those > 40GB data size per movie)

Seems buffering/lag every now and then. Wondering is it processor bottleneck or my network not fast enough.

My NAS is hooked to Gigabit connection, but TV streaming using AC (full strength) WiFi. Maybe I should try LAN next XD

Try copy to USB HDD to playback see if TV issue.

I tried a 53mbit 4k video on KS series no problem found using USB drive or HDD.
*53mbit = 6.625MB per second = 397.5MB per minute = 47.7GB 2 hours movie

Still thinking to choose 49 or 55 inch.
Will 49 inch too small? I am upgrading from 42 inch LCD tv.
