hi sifus...
what's your opinion? which one is better? get the d 7 series 2011 model or go for es 6 series 2012 model?
UA46D7000LRXXM vs UA46ES6220RXXM vs UA46ES6600RXXM vs UA46ES6800RXXM
seems like 46D7000 has ultra clear panel, highest CMR and 3D sound...
also what's difference btwn Allshare (powered by DLNA) & Allshare play?

QUOTE(MilesAndMore @ Sep 8 2012, 06:17 AM) Last year's Series 6 has ultra clear panel too, as well as all the Series 6 models between from year 2008. Anyway, why not consider this year's Series 7 ? I personally do not recommend this year's Series 6. The fact that it doesn't have an ultra clear panel is already a good enough reason not to buy it. Besides, it fares pretty badly in terms of the black level it can produce compared to all the previous Series 6 models. In short, if only is no object, go for this year's Series 7. Otherwise, last year's Series 7 is pretty good too. Even last year's Series 6 is a very good TV Main reason going for an older model is money of course 2012 Series 7 is over my budget. Thinking of getting 2011 Series 7 which maybe priced about the same as 2012 Series 6. But yeah...upon further research looks like 2011 Series 6 is quite good as well...this way can save some more money Except afraid that I don't know what I'll be missing for not getting 2012 model...as why Samsung dropped Ultra Clear Panel from 2012 Series 6 is beyond my understanding

hi i'm another newbie here
I'm using es7100 model and 1 thing that bothers me is that the brightness of the display is not consistent. This is noticable when u turn on subtitles. Most of the time the subtitle is bright white but sometimes it becomes dim.
Has anybody else experience this as well?

QUOTE(OPT @ Jan 18 2017, 04:20 PM) Just hooked up my new Samsung UHD UA55KU6000.... Picture Quality is superb...for 1080p/720p/480p moviesĀ How does the lower resolution contents (especially 720p and SD) on UHD TV U6000 compared to FHD TV? Is it better / close / worse than if play the same contents on FHD TV? I watch a badminton match in Astro HD quality on KS7000 at SenHeng. While no apparent motion blur / judder noticed (plus points), but the upscaling looks un-natural. More like a plastic surgery kind of thing. It's OK to see, it's not ugly, but instead of looking beautiful and pretty, your face just looks weird Any user with experience watching 720p / SD contents on KS7000? Care to share your feedback?
