For KS series, it seems (from talk and rumours at AVS forum) , the previous Fw 1180.5 already had HDR10+ implementations.

Those stupid Samsung technical people all very dumb one. Last time I told them they posted wrong fw1203.6 , had to tell them few times before they changed to correct file. Afterwards I also told them remove the _USB from the folder name or else some people who don't know won't be able to update the fw.
But till now looks like their IQ so low they don't know how to do that. This post has been edited by Ngto: Nov 29 2017, 02:01 AM |

QUOTE(Haruji Sora @ Nov 29 2017, 10:45 AM) Cause Samsung has been apending to _USB in their release for ages already (it applies to all Region, it is basically a FAQ on rename folder at every forum I go to haha) I can tell you for sure 1180.5 and before that didn't have the _USB extended name . I still have the old fws |

Something very 'interesting' for Gamers , namely Haruji Sora . But don't blame me if fake
Taken from very recent post from AVS :- "HDR GAME MODE PATCH - STATUS UPDATE FOR DEPLOYMENT: I just opened an email I received four hours ago from the head of the South Korea engineering team. He confirms that the patch for the 2016 models is ready to go; however, it has not yet been put on the network. He will advise me when they do so. Please note that when OTN distribution begins it could take several weeks before all eligible TVs in the various global markets "see" the firmware and download it. Requests for a direct download have not been approved, but I expect that once the OTN distribution is well underway the patch will eventually be hosted on their websites." PS4 don't have 4K Bluray drive so can't play 4K movies from disc. Can only stream 4K content.

QUOTE(hakimix @ Apr 17 2018, 04:57 PM) I don't know if this is the right thread but may I know where can I repair my Samsung 21.5" monitor SF350? The display was accidentally hit by something hard (thanks to me being a klutz) so all the pixels are messed up at the point of the impact. Is is still salvageable or might as well get a new monitor? New monitor. |
