Ok found it. Turns out that my KS7000 display unit already clock in about 260,000 minute. If it on display at the shop for 12 hours a day, it had been on display for about 1 year. Different from what seller claim for 3-4 months only sweat.gif . Lets see how it will fair in long run. My previous sony tv display unit also, served me well for 7 years. Hope this one can make it laugh.gif

I also wonder how was mine?

Pls tell me how to check this. Thanks!

what i mean is on top of 2 years warranty from samsung, add another 3 years, so total 5 years. if not mistaken 700+, i didnt take it btw hmm.gif
*
I know what u mean.
What I m trying to say is 3th year is free if u r SenHeng members (join fee RM12)
Then u only need to pay additional RM5XX for 2 years extra.

Still cheaper than RM7XX right for 3 years!? innocent.gif

I believe this is a new model MU7000 premium uhd similar to suhd ks7000
*
Totally different!
KS7000 is much closer to QLED standard.

https://www.displayspecifications.com/en/co...rison/d35619a24

Tho there are looks like MU7000 to KS7000 but in reality. It seems like QLED are successor to KS7000.

what game? i played uncharted lost legacy on ps4 pro, dark scene really nice on HDR biggrin.gif

Battlefield ... I m impressed shocking.gif with the graphic.

KS7000 series... his successor shud be QLED edy... As no other series featured Quantum colors edy.

My friend using OLED, after 2 years, got some burn mark at the bottom, sadly warranty not covered.

Yup... Downside of current market OLED tech... At least, not the ones that cost a kidney.  biggrin.gif

Wonder would iPhone facing the same threat or not!? since they devoted into OLED technology beginning iPhone X. They maybe suffered the burned mark like Samsung S7...

Well, Samsung QLED with 1500 HDR. But performance in gaming, slightly higher than KS7000 by 1 or 2 ms difference. Not much but if there's any KS7000 still around. Its a very good buy!

Phone turnover rate is much higher than TV so the percentage of burn mark on display is frankly speaking quite low.

Only 1 of my mobile OLED hit burn out issue (orange tint at the bottom middle of the panel) which is my PS Vita 1000 from 5 years+ ago, and i suspected the burn out happen due to the charger (i think i left it charging too long once and it sort of burn the panel near the ports)

I had AMOLED since Note 2, then Note 3, then S7 Edge, and phone usually by the 3rd year you already itchy want to change hahaha.

I think the average of smart phone upgrade is around 2-3 years, barely any will make it to the 5th year mark (there are exception of course)
*
But OLED not wholly covered by warranty. Some dont even cover it. Case to case basis usually.

Just wonder... can HDMI connect to a spliter?
Wanna add additional HDMI ports to my Samsung one ports... as 4 HDMI all plugged in.
1- PS4 Pro
2- Sony Blu Ray Player
3- Astro PVR
4- AVR & Speaker

Wanna add in 2 more... Android box and additional speaker.
Can split the hdmi port out? Will the quality degrade or something?

Take note most HDMI Switch can't pass through HDR/4K (HDMI 2.0) so definitely PS4 Pro and if your android box is 4K HDR can't go through the switch.
*
Yeah I realized that too.

And I'm just realize my Sony Blue Ray player doesn't play 4K content. Only played up to FHD Blue Ray only. Planning to change it. UHD/HDR Blu Ray Disc cannot be read. Any suggestion any good blu ray player can read UHD content?

btw, my tv = samsung ks7000

I'm guessing that the AVR doesn't support HDMI inputs.. Anyways, What Haruji Sora says.. Get a good and most importantly, compatible one. If you care about A/V, don't cheapskate here.
*
In fact it does.
My AVR = Yamaha RX - A860 got few HDMI ports at the back too ...
Support my 5.1 home theater.

Coz thinking, if the port doesn't worth the split. Then might as well no need, and place my PS4 Pro in my second room. I m preferred to placed it on my main one as many people can enjoy.

Buy X Box One X / S for UHD BluRay LOL.

https://usa.yamaha.com/products/audio_visua...60_u/index.html

This is your AVR? This AVR already support HDR/4k passthrough, so you basically can just hook your PS4 Pro / etc through the AVR HDMI Inputs anyways.

Just make sure to hook everything with HDMI 2.0 cables and you're set to go.

Ideally, if you have a higher end AVR the game consoles/BD should go straight to the AVR to passthrough the best quality sound.
*
Have thought of it too ... just haven't really go through it coz installer install for me previously.
These AVR serve me good enough for condo room theater settings.

Higher end maybe wait my landed house ready... then I'll probably get it.
At this point, somehow I felt I spent a bit too much on all these setup edy. That day called CMY to perform soundproofing my room also cost a bomb edy.

Now slowly have more bombs coming in soon...

PS4 don't have 4K Bluray drive so can't play 4K movies from disc. Can only stream 4K content.
*
Yeah. I realized tat too... how nice if it can play 4K. haiz...

Any recommended wireless keyboard for KS7000?
Find it a bit irritating using phone app and remote to type... or any free app can do it!?
