I know LED is still new in the market, how long do you think these LED TVs will last? 10 years?

How does the Samsung 40D5000PR compare with Philips 42PFL7406 & Philips 46PFL6605:

http://www.samsung.com/my/consumer/televis...b=specification

http://www.philips.com.my/c/televisions/70...fl7406h_12/prd/

http://www.philips.com.my/c/televisions/60...pfl6605_98/prd/

The most expensive of the lot is the PFL6605 while the Samsung is the cheapest (RM2,000). The Philips 7406 costs RM 2,850. Can someone tell me which is the best of the lot and why? Both the Philips models have contrast ratios of only 500,000:1 but the PFL7406 has a 400Hz Clear Motion Rate.

Very confused!

And, sometimes when I switch astro channel, tv will auto zoom or reset my preference of picture setting, may I know why and how to stop that?

Hi guys new owner of Sammy UA40D6000 here.

Wife got it for me from Jusco for RM2999 + 2 glasses + wifi adapter. Fits in nicely for my small gaming room.

Also, if you have a compatible HT system with HDMI ARC, you can control both sound and TV from the TV remote, which is awesome. I'm watching Youtube in 3D now LOL
