How does the Samsung 40D5000PR compare with Philips 42PFL7406 & Philips 46PFL6605:
http://www.samsung.com/my/consumer/televis...b=specification http://www.philips.com.my/c/televisions/70...fl7406h_12/prd/ http://www.philips.com.my/c/televisions/60...pfl6605_98/prd/ The most expensive of the lot is the PFL6605 while the Samsung is the cheapest (RM2,000). The Philips 7406 costs RM 2,850. Can someone tell me which is the best of the lot and why? Both the Philips models have contrast ratios of only 500,000:1 but the PFL7406 has a 400Hz Clear Motion Rate. Very confused! |

Press Info -> Menu -> Mute -> Power. The menu will appear then the tv starts up. select SVC you will find information on hours of usage. To exit just press the power botton again. |

I will definite go for 7 series if there is a promotion like 5k plus.... Wow... Btw, I go in the SVC but I still dunno which hour represent hour of usage... My bad...
And, sometimes when I switch astro channel, tv will auto zoom or reset my preference of picture setting, may I know why and how to stop that? And anyone know the price of extended warranty to 5yrs? This post has been edited by Novalus: Jan 13 2012, 12:40 AM |

Hi guys new owner of Sammy UA40D6000 here.
Wife got it for me from Jusco for RM2999 + 2 glasses + wifi adapter. Fits in nicely for my small gaming room. Also, if you have a compatible HT system with HDMI ARC, you can control both sound and TV from the TV remote, which is awesome. I'm watching Youtube in 3D now LOL |
