I also bought a KS7000 display set from Best 1 U for Rm 4k. Samsung technicians also came and changed a new panel at the shop itself (the display panel was slightly defective) before I inspected and paid for it when fully satisfied.

But no extended warranty though.

At home I checked the hidden service menu and estimate the unit was switched on about 8 months if I presume they work 10 hours a day. Before that the salesman said the set was on display for only 3 mths although I didn't really believe him. That's why he's a salesman 

I wonder how many display sets they got. When I bought it was supposed to be the last one.

If you didn't see any display set how come they offer to sell you one ? Maybe they want to sell you 2nd hand set. LOL

Anyway don't you know display set can already consider as 2nd hand set since it's used.

I m saw. KU6000 quite attractive to me ... however the demo and the screening kinda turn me down when i pay a visit to the show room.
And KS7000 wow me but SH told me its a last year model and they stop manufacture KS7000 and cheapest I can get is RM5099.

Since, KU6000 is not as bad as I think... might consider buying from Lazada. Found one shop selling RM2599 with free shipping and installation. RM300 cheaper than SH quoted me. Wait for my house ready in 1 or 2 months time and see whats the best turn out. If not, will just stick with KU6000.

Another offer, is from Harvey. They have 2 demo unit forsales (last 2 weeks i check) they selling off QLED for RM8288... I like tat model but the price is way beyond my level edy.

They offered me RM2899 last month. Latest price not sure. But tats their promo last week.
Can go and ask ask and see? They said only their branch having such low price sales for KU6000.

Just wanted to share with your my experience with Samsung Customer Service for the issue I had with my KU6000. I had this flickering issue with my TV. Thought i'm gonna have a hard time to claim the warranty but it was a breeze. I kinda neglected the issue as it was not a deal breaker for me. Called TB where I bought my TV on Wednesday and I was informed someone from Samsung will call me soon. Expected to be contacted about a week but I got a call on Friday saying a technician will check my issue. Technician came by and looked at my issue. It's a legit issue and most 4k TV would encounter it as per him. He wasn't surprised and immediately he concluded to replace my panel. Thought the Panel replacement would take a week or so but the part came on Monday! So the Technician removed the old panel and replaced it with the new one just like that. I was told that parts were made in Vietnam and it's a brand new one. Noticed a difference in terms of overall picture quality. So far, I'm happy with their service albeit the issue I encountered.

Ya, i found both is curved. Is that worth to buy KU6500 over KU6300?

I asked the technician if the issue is common for KU models but he told me that it happens to all 4k TVs regardless of the model. He told me that he was working with Samsung since he was 17 until today. he's in his mid 40s  Can't doubt about that haha btw, my issue is a black bar intermittently flickering regardless of what i'm doing(PS4, Netflix, Youtube, Kodi, etc..)

Found 55KS7000 at 5.1K ... worth it ? But there is no extended warranty offered ... only the standard 2 years manufacturer warranty.

It's almost 4 years already.. Won't last long wan..
Normally its around 3 - 5 years only can last (depending on usage & luck)
So  Better buy new set

Hi, I have just bought  samsung qled 55q7f tv for a week, I found that One Connection Box seemed to be very hot, Is it the normal case or my connection box is overheat?

Went to buy it yesterday, but when they about to pack the TV, noticed there is a small hairline scratch/crack on the screen. When the TV is on, it hardly notice but it visible if look closer. They offer another RM300 discount but I cancel the purchase, feel not worth it.

I'm also waiting for OLED to sort out their issues. The issues they have are a huge turn off for me. At the moment I find the cons of a top end LED more bearable than the cons of an OLED. In terms of PQ its currently you win some and you lose some for both.

But if and when OLED can iron out their kinks, it will be the end of LEDs then into the bedroom the 65KS9000 goes.
