Yeah, Dolby Vision is backwards compatible and if you ask me, it's superior (at least on paper)..plus Dolby wants the industry to adopt their standards, which I don't mind. Cuz they are global leaders in A/V and clearly know their sh**. AFAIK, a strong decision has not being made. Hence my adoption of the wait and see method... .. In 5 or so years, there should be a clear winner or at least a majority. Right now, I've got me a fantastic 1080p, truly smart tv that gives me no issues with USB playback, Netflix, YouTube, etc. Anything else and the external media box comes in.

I've experienced the opposite. Have 2 Samsung LED sets. One's at least 7 years old and still going as a daily monitor and the other is 3 years old.. Strong.

u try buy the latest Samsung TV.. see can last above 5 years or not

1.2 m is just about 4 feet. Check again, the chart  is in Feet not Meter. I think maybe you mean 12 feet.

Ok, I rechecked the earlier chart, it's not the same one as above. Something wrong with the earlier one.

My understanding is that the chart is about 'worth it' in the sense of be able to notice the resolutional details. It does not consider the aspect of be able to capture the entire screen inside a 'field of view'.

Yes, for content with very high resolution, the chart says in order for us to see the details, we have to sit near and have a big screen. But by doing so, the field of view becomes more that 40º and that becomes uncomfortable.

Hi,  anyone know to how to use the universal remote come with ks7000 to samsung soundbar hwk360. Im able to pass the power test when testing the remote to the soundbar. But after that how am i to switch my remote if i want to use tv instead of soundbar and vice versa? There is no button for it.

Hi all, I have just installed unifi 30 and when trying access Hypp TV everywhere on my Samsung smart TV (MU6100 series), the Hypp TV app keeps saying cannot connect to internet. All the other apps are working fine. Can anyone get theirs to work? Thanks.

I can’t even login as it keeps saying unable to connect to HyppTV Everywhere. In the homepage of HyppTV Everywhere on Smart TV also nothing shows and the same error message.
