I worked in a banking industry for a while and maybe can shed some light on this.
Most international banks has a flatter hierarchy and has below positions: Professional Associate (manager & senior manager (AVP)) VP ED MD Others have it as Executive Assistant Manager Manager AVP VP Director MD Basically same thing with more layers compared to another.
