truevision can be received on the whole peninsular...
you need to buy DM decoder, connect it through as*** dish that has been properly aligned to Thaicom 5 satellite, and subscribe to DM server to enable you to decrypt the true vision irdeto encyrption. Oh.., you also need Streamyx unlimited package (384kbps) is enough... even I heard that dial-up also can be use to stream the "code"

It's kinda illegal to talk about that here.... and I'm also only know about it through some limited reading.

Last time when I'm still "play" with this stuff, I can receive thaicom 5 signal very strongly at my place (Northern Perak)...just using standard as*** dish and LNB...

Signal quality is about 85%....

Why want subscribe true visions instead of Asstro? More cheaper or more channel?
One more, i'm sure it will be broadcast on Thai language.

you are wrong, thai have stricter censor law in the region, they even blur the scene with lighted cigarette, all nude and sex scenes will get the mask treatment

truevision have lots more channel than Asstro...
They have all of HBO packs, and they also already launched new HD services... but only limited to 3 channels...

perak state should be inside 54dBW footprint, you could even use smaller 50cm dish to receive true vision channels instead of astro 60cm dish

Only 3 HD channels?? So not interesting.
