Lyon did a tottenham against benfica. What's with the trend of conceding 4 then scoring 3 on the trot back?

QUOTE(milky @ Nov 3 2010, 06:32 PM) now i only realise that their jersey got holes @ the armpit there.... why ours not the same as theirs? jus curious coz ours just official replica (not to be confused with pirated fakes) whereas the players use Player Issue. There are some differences, for example player shirt have bigger ventilation at the side to help with airing. also player shirts tend to be more tight fitting...if they do that for majority fans who is berperut buncit, nobody will wanna buy it laa |

at the moment, there is still a chance for us to land Bale (assuming SAF is willing to splash BIG) coz even as an European contender, Tottenham isn't that established yet and the mentality of "selling players for money" than those mid to bottom teams have, might still be there. It would be near impossible though, if Tottenham ends up challenging for title every year for the next 4-5 years, then they became the "regular top four" and the prospect of selling to a "rival" team will not be liked.

QUOTE(Wan @ Nov 6 2010, 05:48 PM) Consider our "normal" midfield of say... Park, Carrick, Fletcher, Valencia. Also seems good, none can be considered "great" as well ( if by great u mean ala Zidane la). if u look at them individually, none of them are the so-called world famous players (no xavi, no kaka etc). But as a group, we all know what our midfielders are capable of. I think the situation is the same at Tottenham. I think they work well as a team, bar VDV who's the only new player though he blends in well. |

well like i said, individually our midfielders arent the greatest of the bunch, players like Fletcher and Carrick can hardly be said to be the game winning type of players, like Ronaldo. Those ratings are, if accurate (

QUOTE(Sheep319 @ Nov 6 2010, 10:02 PM) LOL! same case with Arsenal, flamboyant which suits them better for UCL but when meet hard EPL teams, cant do much. plus away record isnt particularly good for them arent they? especially the running players they have, all u gotta do is stay deep. Bale probably rape Maicon because Maicon often ventures up and expose the back too much. This post has been edited by pyroboy1911: Nov 6 2010, 10:10 PM |

QUOTE(dD_se7en @ Nov 6 2010, 11:53 PM) wat u tok? he just came in as substitute now u want him to go out? apart from his crosses, i think he did well overall. not to mention he has this lucky aura around him, twice he managed to get to the ball when defenders make mistakes. sometimes need these small difference to win a match. |
