Okay, few things before this

1) We all know it's gona be super lag if you trying to play on launch day. So keep those post out

2) You can purchase Cataclysm digital download version now, and start downloading the files, and get to play right on the minute when it was launch. But since most people might prefer the box version, or even the CE version, and also wish to play it right on time, without need to go out and buy the game, come back still have to download. With this, you can download now, go buy the game when it's available, and just key in the CD-Key when you have it

3) It's legal


So how to start the Cataclysm files now?


1) The game and launcher is closed
2) Open the WTF folder inside your world of warcraft folder
3) Open the Launcher.wtf in notepad and change the "accountType" line from LK to CT.
4) Open the Config.wtf in notepad and change the "accountType" line from LK to CT.


Then restart WOW launcher, and you will be start to download 700mb of new files.


This is not pirated way or anyshit since you still need to get the CD key to play the game when cata launch

im afraid to try since i still remember having trouble patching wotlk on patch 2.4 to 3.0 . in the end need to reinstall whole wow folder
