Hi,

I would like to install a folding sliding door..

I am wondering how to setup the grill to avoid the break from outside..

Any ideas?

I have one myself. folding door 4 panels and am also interested in the grill, anyone out there have suggestions?

depend on ur need... if u thinking not to change the grill and got budget, can use stainless steel... no rusty ... but if u want modern look and cheaper can use wrought iron grill, trendy now... however if u want something simple and cheapest.. maybe u can go for normal metal grill (dont know exact word in english)...

however refer to ur 1st Q... to avoid break in from outside... hmmmm nowadays robber are very smart.. whatever u do they always got way to break in =.=''

are you installing the grill OUTSIDE or INSIDE of sliding door? for better looking and security, installed it INSIDE. and for the sliding doors, go find wood stick or any stick to block the sliding door (on the floor rail) when not in use. it is the best method. wink.gif

most of the fold type sliding door is fold outward, means you can install sliding grill or gate inside.

if you could snap a picture of your door, that would be more easier for us to explain or help.

Yes, I do agree that the grill should install inside..

Only sliding grill can be used? i guess so..

Other methods?

U can also use folding grill inside!
