You can keep your old account even if you have open a joint-account. It's same as individual saving account where you can do daily transactions.

Is there any option not to have their ATM card for AA Savers but want their internet banking facilities? I don't want to pay the RM 8 since I don't use the ATM card at all.

I thought is free for life...imagine the shock when kena RM15 on March lol, but seems they give RM5 rebate to my annual fee?

And the RM5 interest if keep balance above RM5K is getting annoying. This is the 3rd time they didn't bank into me. Call CS they also blur, and I keep spamming the complaint forms...this is stupid

1. You have to tell the staff that you want the ATM card (without debit MasterCard function) and sometimes you have to insist for it as sometimes ill-informed staff may tell you CIMB Bank no longer issue the old ATM card.

2. If you want the Air Asia Savers Account, then you need to tell the staff specifically that you want him/her to open the Air Asia Savers Account for you. If you say nothing at all when you go to open a savings account, they may open a regular savings or a basic savings account or may be Air Asia Savers for you.

Bro, is it possible to transfer money from the AA savers account to my normal basic savings account? Tried doing it online via cimbclicks but cannot find any option to do so. Can you please advise?

Thanks!

at first pissed off by cimb increasing their debit card annual fee to $15.but later cimb slowly compensate the higher fee with more promotions such as GSC $10 ticket, cashback(got lucky and won twice),cash rebates, etc

Checked just moments ago while i wanted to transfer amount from AA to Savings.
Though, it doesn't list out AA Savers A/C at the From column. Only Savings is listed.
*
yes it says savings so you need to know your AA Savers a/c to transfer
edit:if you open the TO tab it will tell you which is savings a/c,which is airasia savers

To be able to transfer between the account.. Need to link the saver account with your saving account. The link is available in "Settings" and select "ATM/Debit card service"

But the process of verification would need 5 working days... Then after linking, you will be able to transfer

CIMB has been secretly revising all their rates downwards. They reduce their FD rates on Oct 1st too.
