sklchan, regarding the Nokia N8 Mods (use at your own RISK!!) at FP, can u make the mod to just disable the sound only ?

Has Nokia sell these 2 cases http://www.nokia.com.my/link?cid=EDITORIAL_1656644 & http://www.nokia.com.my/link?cid=EDITORIAL_1643135 ? Wonder what the price is. Yesterday, go to Nokia around me but no avail. Anyway, N8 is priced at $1690 for members here.

the stock headset that come with our N8, do you really have to put inside the ears to get the best sound ? cannot wear like earphone ka ? i think even my of 2nd gen iDop stock earphone sound better. The N8 stock headset seems lack of 'space' & high treble. Maybe it better suits for calls only. Opinion ?

just update the social apps to new one (1.2 i guess), run the apps then ask login to ovi account then goes to add social network, choose facebook, add login/pass then while waiting come out "Unable to connect to gateway" & am using wifi which is using proxy to internet. Any idea what's wrong ?

Anybody using the Social Apps/Widget ? Do you connect using 3g or wif because mine seems can't connect but only using 3g/edge but if switch to wifi 'unable to connect to gateway'. I don hav prob wit my wifi because browse using wifi.
