Insist on your receipt date. No one or shop should cheat you for even 1 hour, let alone a day. Stand up for your rights!

QUOTE(anucia @ Nov 2 2010, 12:42 AM) Aspire, since you are well versed on phones stuffs, do you have any idea if Nokia warranty goes by the receipt or that unreliable warranty void sticker? hey, do not worry bout the warranty though. If you have your warranty printed november, then it will be november. You can fight with them Does the phone comes with the sirim tag at the back of the phone? |

QUOTE(RiuK3n @ Nov 3 2010, 06:44 PM) The whole thing. I have the same prob yesterday. All I did is off the phone for about 10 sec and on it back and its back to normal again. For me, this happens maybe because after I install an app which requires me to restart but I did not restart then when I lock, the screen stays lit. So I just off for about like 10 sec and on it again. Then its ok already.I din on screensaver, it's always off. When lock the screen suppose to turn black. Rather it does not and only shows the lock "Key" symbol next to batt symbol. It stay lit and I can still see my homescreen after locking it... |

QUOTE(RiuK3n @ Nov 3 2010, 06:51 PM) But I din even do anythin to it. guess i got lucky that the back light able to off again. Thanks for the info! Try playing around with the settings as well. Somehow, it might help. I just replied a msg and this happened. And this is actually the 2nd time for me. The first was due to social apps which I fully uninstalled. But this time it just happened Added on November 3, 2010, 6:56 pmI googled and apparently this issue is quite common in Europe. Firmware issues it seems. Hope the firmware updates come soon Here's the link http://discussions.nokia.co.uk/t5/Nseries-...ght/td-p/785186 |

QUOTE(FayeChan @ Nov 3 2010, 11:56 PM) Sigh, apparently all Black coloured N8 models are sold out in all Nokia Stores that I've went to. So no choice but to put my name on the waiting list till they restocked again. Most stores are either carrying Green and Silver. so have you got yours or you're still waiting for the black? Good thing is that they have EPP for major credit cards. An average of RM281 for 6 months (via HSBC; card that I am using). |
