Aspire, since you are well versed on phones stuffs, do you have any idea if Nokia warranty goes by the receipt or that unreliable warranty void sticker?

is the phone can watch tv without connecting to the internet?
like watching normal tv commercial ..coz i went to nokia centre and tested the phone ..can watch 8tv and tv 3...but not sure whether need to connect to the internet or jus use sth like build anthena watch directly ...newbie to the phone ..planning to buy after finish this research.thanks

I din on screensaver, it's always off.
When lock the screen suppose to turn black.
Rather it does not and only shows the lock "Key" symbol next to batt symbol.
It stay lit and I can still see my homescreen after locking it...

But I din even do anythin to it.
I just replied a msg and this happened.
And this is actually the 2nd time for me.
The first was due to social apps which I fully uninstalled.
But this time it just happened

Firmware issues it seems.
Hope the firmware updates come soon

Great... now they disabled my FM transmitter.
I can no longer use it

I just off my phone for 1minute then on back.
The problem solved but my FM transmitter got disabled.
I din even do anythin 

It's feature is totally disabled.
Checked forums and found out it happens to firmware from hong kong but mine is from Malaysia and is working perfectly before!

are your widgets online? i suppose those will drain quite a lot since they would be online every once in a while to fetch data...also, turn off wifi, bluetooth when not using, those can be some battery drainer also

Sigh, apparently all Black coloured N8 models are sold out in all Nokia Stores that I've went to. So no choice but to put my name on the waiting list till they restocked again. Most stores are either carrying Green and Silver.

Good thing is that they have EPP for major credit cards. An average of RM281 for 6 months (via HSBC; card that I am using).

He stated that he's on the waiting list , so he hasn't got 1 yet.
