Hi guys, I'm new to this forum. & I'm a new N8 owner as well!
It has only been 5 days but I'm totally loving N8 right now. Just 1 problem, when I try to connect to wifi that require password, I got 'Invalid server name' error. Tried many wifi with password, mainly at mamak and trying to steal my neighbours wifi wink.gif, all give me the same error msg. Anyone else has the same problem?
The wifi works fine when I connect to the ones without password like Starbuck, Old Town, etc. I'm getting frstrated with it.

i only get that error when i set my router to filter mac address.

The one at starbucks, old town u need to access their browser with ads after u access only u get internet access. Some even require you to register and access to login and password

wifi at starbucks old town are ok, just the passwrod protected ones, even the ones at public places like mamak.
So it's bcz of router setting not bcz of faulty phone? Any way to get around this? Frustrating la cannot connect eventhough u have the pasword.

An advice try to do a hard reset your phone and test it first before sending into nokia centre. Sometimes it could be wrong configuration or other apps cause this we never know.

will hard reset delete my apps?

Just passing some info here, about N8 camera sensor.

- Sony Ericsson Satio – 1/2.5″
- Samsung Pixon12 – 1/2.5″
- Nokia N86 8MP – 1/2.5″
- Sony Ericsson Vivaz – 1/3.2″

N8 - 1/1.83"

I have no idea what camera sensor means, and I have no idea what the numbers up there means, but I read 1/1.83 means N8 has a by far the best sensor for camera phones.

For Symbian, you need to sign it to use it with security

I've installed it now. So I need to sign all the apps that I have?
