android and apple has better browsing experience 

Tested the FM radio and with the original head phone - VERY GOOD  performance (RDS + AF + new UI fast scan by swipe) 

Tested the handfree with the original head phone - VERY GOOD performance (all button functioning as it is, the audio loud and clear both side) 

Tested the original head phone with MP3 and radio - VERY GOOD performance (loud and clear, the bass is strong the treble is crispy clear) 

Overall the original head phone are VERY GOOD    with the only don't like is the cable shape... why it's not round in shape??? 

its whatsapp btw. lol. and the app keeps connecting to wifi very very persistently. and with no wifi, it connects 3g.. thats why i uninstalled it. but otherwise, its a great app.

Hmm... are you replying via the conversation screen or via the message display screen. It could be a bug in the conversation feature, I am not sure. Somehow I am used to viewing the actual message screen and then reply from there. Partly because the fonts in the conversation screen is too small for my viewing. 

conversation mode is standard for all other platform..  except Symbian... zzzz.....

No need. but if you want faster acquisition rather than waiting few min for the satelite, the default setting is AGPS or assisted GPS. That's required RM0.10 per start-up.

Meaning if you switch on your ovimaps/Garmin wth AGPS 3 trimes daily, you will kena RM0.30 for that day

some tips to show miss call/sms on screen saver mode with time

Q: When the phone is locked, the default screen saver is the clock. Is there any way to enable it to show missed call/sms as well?

A: The other alternative is to use “Music player” as the screensaver. That might do the trick.

“Menu > Settings > Themes > Screen saver > Music player”

I normally depend on the Garmin/Malfreemaps for the POI. Found that you can export the saved POI into a GPX file which OVI Maps will read and store on your phone. Cool eh?

your said lock faster is with or w/o A-GPS?

in my case, i tried with only I-GPS (w/o agps), few minutes passed still can't lock successfully. always need to use Agps for instant lock down..

not sure abt it..will try again later.
with a-gps is instant. just try to see whether n8 will be much better than 5800 for satellite locking or not.
(last time i try 5800 was waiting "forever"  )
