tried, they dont know, "phone failed to start, please contact retailer". afterward the phone is like dead, on button and everything doesnt give any response.

just got my N8 back today from NCC, after almost 2 weeks waiting....=.=, they changed the board...new phone...same body. hopefully it doesnt fail me this time....

but software update(Phone apps update) failed....

while making a call, phone turned off automatically, i turn it on "phone failed to start, please contact retailer", removing sim card and all doesnt fix, hard reset doesnt fix it either...

I'm not sure the phone is really off OFF. Usually, if it won't turn on, we remove the battery for a while, then put back the battery, but for N8, it'll be hard. Removing the battery and put it back on is different from removing it for a certain period. If you remove it and put it back straight, the phone still have some power to it.

I will, that's what I'm trying to do, do comparison, get more samples, etc. I think after gather this information, if confirm my unit really has problem, I think let them know first rather than send in straight, see what they say first. No point travel there few times and waiting for the device.

i just loaded tron from youtube in hd 720p, doesnt have that thing in the picture u showed. maybe its the video.

i think its normal, cuz i can see it on my desktop monitor too, its LED(LCD) though. maybe becuase N8 screen is smaller makes it more noticeable.
