@aspire: i know it's about angle and lighting...i learning a bit of basics myself too anyway don mind if i continue asking..but no matter how many times i looked right...i still don see how the focus point is 10cm away from the phone bah...seems like you place at the edge of the plate and the middle piece chicken is focused, that doesnt quite look like 10CM...really, is i try to focus an object last time also i cant get it, kept focus fail no matter what angle i try..only made it when i actually back off to around 10cm

I tried to focus on bugs on flowers it fails to focus then i immediately switch to nokia N900 Fcam it can focus to 5cm Bug in action by thenokiagallery, on Flickr This post has been edited by aspire2oo6: Oct 30 2010, 09:52 PM

The zoom still digital. Wait till they find a way to squeeze optical lens into popular phones that the day its the day. I know SE and samsung already have but never became popular I think this is less than 10cm closeup Nokia N8 @ Secret Recipe @ Putrajaya by thenokiagallery, on Flickr This post has been edited by aspire2oo6: Oct 30 2010, 10:07 PM

QUOTE(aspire2oo6 @ Oct 30 2010, 04:48 AM) Can u show us some sample? Nokia N8 is not a low light king camera phone. Since that the problem try compensate by finding another angle with brighter background and do not use night mode while taking at lights. In your case LED lights are extremely bright so since you are in total darkness and using night mode it will be over exposed but for sifu sklchan photo the light is not extreme bright it act as a focus point My version of I-city but not Nokia N8 version http://www.flickr.com/photos/thenokiagalle...1066945/detail/ Added on October 30, 2010, 5:33 amMy Nokia N8 Version Nokia N8 @ Panorama @ I - city by thenokiagallery, on Flickr Wow! Nice pic aspire! I'll post it on Monday as I'm actually rather busy lately. Do hope all the sifu can give me guidance ya Sifu skl so geng.. can take such nice pics..
