ever since i updated my social app, the widget does not respond anymore aka dead widget.press it but nth pop out or happen.i even tried uninstall the social app and reinstalling

Have you tried removing it and reinsert the widget ? Maybe try rebooting the phone?

after some observation... i think i know what Andy claim the so call screen dark tone layer issue... compiling the color chart now for everyone to try later on... hmm.gif

I know that i have it , i tried . Andy was right. The colour blending isn't as good.

I assume the whole 1st batch of n8's is affected by it.

from what i observed... it's not just blending... it seem the oled have "stains" mark when it near to be turn off.... hard to explain, later will provide a set of color cards for everyone to check... hmm.gif

guys , what the different using power saving mode or normal mode ? it says some setting cannot be modify . is just that ?

it's not just nokia but the main culprit is the display panel manufacturer... and it might also due to oled limitation where we dont have deep understanding in it... hmm.gif

power saving profile is a fixed profile where u can changes it's setting... and it major function is to "save power" lah... nod.gif

yea.. the color blending isnt tat nice.. but in normal lighting its not easy to spot it.

i think it is customised by country, like in malaysia will have tv3 and 8tv

singapore will have CNA and makansutra

china will have it own china tv channel
