jeez...hardware design is a one time thing..when they finalize, it's finalized..N97's is fix cos hardware design flaw
don tell me every batch they will redesign the internal..wuah, ok, we put ram here, then put CPU here, better cooling...
ok, even if they go that, which means their assembly factory need to always be reprogrammed to adjust to their hardware fix? yeah, sure, sounds totally logical and economical to me
plus, redesign hardware takes 3-4 weeks time with trial and error, product batch takes another 2-3 weeks, shipping takes another 1-2 weeks...if you do the math..it's rather impossible that yours is second production batch, even if they are working on one
the
real reason of different batch performance differently(better) is because later batch ships with later firmware versions, but as of now, nope, no new firmwares yet
