Pixelpipe is good. I use it to upload pics to FB and Flickr.

After installation, it will run in the background on startup by default. It's up to you whether you want to set it to not run on startup.

+1 if restart phone also it auto launch. trying connect with network all time.

uninstalled. because it make my phone hang and need to hard reset.

before this my phone never hang

the what app thingie is for u to connect with your friends it uses mobile number then u can chat with them for free over WIFI and 3G network problem is if u do not have unlimited plan Nokia n8 will keep forcing to connect even how you disable it. If WIFI fail it will auto connect via 3G. I got fed up and just uninstall it settle

Top App has new update. I just installed and now it caters to Malaysia
There are some widget dedicated for Malaysia such as Taxi service, News Headline by all major publication and such
Do check them out at top apps

PS: I used here and now for the first time today after I got my N8, was surprised and quite delighted to find such service on my phone

The warranty of AP vs Original

The AP company give u 2 years vs 2 years original nokia cannot be compare why?

Original set is warranty by Nokia Malaysia and can be fixed at any nokia centre in malaysia.

Ap set is warranty by specified shop or technician service centre. The goods or repair parts are coming out from their own pocket. Imagine this in 2 years can the phone value drop? Imagine when it drop to about 1.1k in lets say in 19 months your motherboard spoil and it might cost the shop repair about RM900. Question to u will that small little shop repair for you when a brand new one cost Rm1.1k by then? Is there a possibility they say your phone got water and tell u that you void the warranty or say somone tempered with the device and void warranty?

The logic original vs ap very simple

Original - Pay more now worry less later
AP - Pay less now worry more later

Yea u do save RM100 - RM300 but when the phone spoil even u have RM300 maybe still not enough to pay for the repair cost depending on the damage. If your phone dont ever spoil lucky you. What if it do?

i think you should know that AP set from CSL.. this guys are the big players they really cover the warranty as they say..i remember CSL is really huge almost anywhere in malaysia link also have service center..so they are like nokia too..anyway the point is last time we will think to buy AP set is because ori phone say will cost you 2k where AP set will cost you 1.7k or lesser but when you sell as second hand the price will be the same say AP second hand is 1k ORI also same 1k..you will lose more..you know that right? and we all change phone every like 6months or 1 year?

we are lucky now the ORI are cheaper is because there is no more tax or sales tax. so is just up to us to get the AP sets or the ORI like the N8 now ORI can get at 1570 AP 1450 is only cheaper by 120 now we can choose that we want zitron or AP sets.

im not saying that get the AP sets coz the warranty is 2years or 18months.. i just reply to (silrave) coz he ask

FYI: phone that is more then a year is no point repairing coz sometimes even nokia don't have the parts already im sure they have discontinue it and new far batter models are out and cheaper.. like you say 19months! just buy a god damn new one la.
