GPS sifu how up to date is the map of papago on MFM vs MFM garmin?

I notice papago maps gets updates not as frequent as garmin

@aspire: you either jailbreak and access the folder to replace the map...or i think you'll need to wait them for new map update...i think i'll need to wait even longer..cos...well...*ahem ahem*

papago release abit slow bcos the new mappers need time to learn how to adapt to papago maps compiler. but atleast they are releasing a new one soon. Yeah it's abit slow and I forsee it will not be a weekly updates as GARMIN in future.. Hopefully M3gps the sole distributor of papago in M';sia will not create another blunder that causes the war between MFM & papago months ago & also resulted in the retirement of 2 sr mappers there

On how to install papago, there is a tutorial on each release. I'm not sure how bcos I dun use papago On Garmin very simple. Just follow the screen instruction after download & thereafter you can choose to trf direct the created gmapsupp.img to you attached N8 or if you choose to install later, just copy & paste the gmapsupp file to Garmin folder of N8

no need memory card your Nokia N8 16GB consider as a memory card di.

1) 2Copy all the files aka garmin folder and garminxt installer from your old nokia phone to nokia N8 16GB mass storage (aka internal memory)

2)Rerun the garmin installer u cant choose where to install so it auto install in N8 16GB mass storage (aka internal memory)

3) This part u know lor when u change phone u must do again get fresh code because a specify code only for specify IMEI

already did, N8 right now at my sister's hand. Using iPhone over N8 cos of browser, apps(mostly games), and the text input.
As for the convenience of homescreen, i found a few cydia apps that makes up for it in iOS, so i guess it's ok with me
and once again, i am not saying N8 sucks, just saying iOS is giving me better usage experience overall(before fanboy starts open fire)
