When I try to burp my baby.... I end up burping instead !!! What gives ?

My wife also suffers from crack nipple when brestfeeding. Medela cream did help a bit. Would anyone know of other traditional or kampung methods in minimizing crack nipple. Wife sufffering like crazee laa.

The latch...how do I say this....is on the nipple only. The baby doesn't seem to latch on the outer area as she opens her mouth very small and not wide open. As a result of this, she clings/latches onto a small area, which is the nipple.

Will get her to air her boobs.
