Hello...
Ill be delivering my first child in the coming march 2012. First, I'm planning to have breastfeed but there are couple of question here to ask all the experts...
1. Since its my first pregnancy, is that mean that my milk supply will be little in the first few weeks and might not be able to cope with the baby demand?
2. Interviewed a CL yesterday, she suggested that if the milk supply not enough, must mix with breast milk with formula milk. Is this a correct way to deal with?
3. Which breast pump should I opt for? ( I'm in marketing field, required to travel outside most of the time after my maternity)
4. How long should I breast feed? Can I breast feed baby for just 2 months?
Hope to hear from all the experience daddy and mummy...

Today is my 3rd day after delivery... Just discharge from hospital yesterday on the 21st march..
Dear all breast feeding mummies... I'm feeling really upset... My confinement lady came and she keep insulting and ask to let my bb on formula at night.. Reason given.. If I dun rest.. I will not have a quick flow of milk.. She's suggesting that I latch on during the day time.. Pump at night to stimulate and for short term, subsidise formula for night feeding...
Senario started this way, My bb will only take my nipple every 2-3 hours ... And each feeding does feel a little hurting when starting as he feel geram and bite... My nipple has a little sore now... What should I do now?
My initial planning is to take of my bb myself at night and insisted to latch on whenever he want.. Ended up the first night I did not managed to sleep as bb keep crying... I'm doing a proper latch on.. But dunno y bb keep refusing the nipple after few try... Then will scream and cry till the whole face red red...
Now.. Can I let bb have formula temporary for couple of day until my nipple less sore and at the mean time use breast pump to stimulate? Should I listen to the confinement lady advice? Need all advise from experience daddy and mummy... As I know.. If I keep stressing myself and without rest.. My milk will not be able to flow... But.. What should I do now???

Should I still continue feeding or stop latch on for few days but stimulate thru breast pump? |
