My journey so far;

During 1st two weeks i was soo happy that i seemed to have endless supply of milk, i pump every 3-4hours getting around average 6oz-8oz pertime, around 50oz perday. Then the nitemare begins, my pump went kookoo and i cant pump out the milk. Because i was producing more milk my bb can suck/drink, i had an engorgement and fever. When i recover the next day, my supply went down to 2oz!! Lucky i had 14 bottles of 5oz milk storage else i couldnt meet my baby's needs as he was so used to drinking between 4oz to 7oz perfeed. I was so stressed out, i had to pump every 2 hours, and then later down to every 1 hour to keep up.

I am happy to say that after few days of trying, my milk supply is back to normal. For mothers whose supply is running low, try pumping every 2hours. It helps to boast your supply.

Dun worry babes, you wont be the 1st and last to feel discouraged. Not everybody support BF...hiya my MIL everyday also say "WHen switch to FM i will etc etc etc" despite me telling her on a daily basis NEVER as long as I am able to produce milk :/ Then my BIL ask my MIL..har she feeding her son BM? SHe got enuf meh? :/ I was like...ughhhh non of your bisness laa Just becoz his wife cannot produce, doesnt mean i cant too!! Hmmf!
There must be a reason for human to produce milk for their babies rite...."cow milk for cow maa" i told her, quite fedup.
I am not BM crazy but since everybody says good, of coz all mothers wan to try to give the best. DUnno y so many discouragements at times...summore we work so hard for it. Its harder than my fulltime job to ensure he gets BM!

Ohhh i also starting time produced very little....i nonstop pumping squeezing press press hard hard desperately until milk come out drop by drop, 1 hour only like 1oz-2oz. Then after a while doing that nonstop, oneday my milk decide to flow like nobody biznes. So actually i think everybody also same, sure can produce one, try hard to pump and few days later can see results.

Ya use bottles. I love it!

y cannot drink plain water ark after birth?? Becoz of wind? I drank so much opssy but lucky me, no wind problem. I think can drink la...how can one last purely on dates water? I just drank dates water after 2 weeks of birth, twice a day....

Nickit: Lucky for me hubby very supportive. Everytime his mom says something discouraging, he scolds her. Now we r calling my milk BESTMILK Lately MIL also quite encourage BF oredi coz her frens told her its good :/

Then then i mentioned my next kid i am gonna do 2 years BFing....the comments were even more ^*&@^%^$%$!!!
They dun even know my mom breastfeed me for 3 years!! arghhhhh.....

SUmmore some of the same frens and family who oredi knew i fully breastfeed (for 11 mths) but kept asking again and again if i supplement with formula or not. What is this la....

yaya its expensive to buy breastmilk...hahahha that time i told my hubby when i was expressing...my hubby started counting the $$$ we could make

Ya i have this fren who says....breastmilk i heard only good until 2months, max 6months :/ I just ignore her...benci laaa hear this type of comment when she knows i gungho breastfeeding...maybe trying to make herself feels better.
1year later....she says...Hiya i feed similac lor, to compensate not breastfeeding my kid, expensive also nmind.
