if i choose to express and feed baby rather than direct latch for all the time is it ok? does that make any difference?
coz im planning after delivered, if possible with the supply, ill express, store and feed him rather than latching on. advice please

im going to deliver in another one or two weeks time. i have already bought breast pump to stand by coz im planning to bf my boy.

what are the guide should i follow in order i get to supply my baby?? during the confinement time, what should and should not eat?
im afraid that i might consume something wrong and pass it thru to baby when bf. im planning to let him to latch on for the 1st week then will try to use pump after that.

as i know my mom will instruct me to take dom in the morning after brushing teeth coz it touches water. so is it that i should bf my baby first then only to take dom?? will the dom affect baby? what bout those chinese herbs like 'dang guai', 'bao shen' , chicken essence etc??

Those Chinese medicine won't effect ur baby while u are in confinement especially when u eat al the confinement food especially ginger wine chicken. My mother in law saids it is good for supplying more milk to give the baby drink. I never drink dom in the morning but before sleep at night. I also drink it after my lunch and won't cause effect on bf to your bb. Don't worry

What bout bf guide? Coz im thinking that first week would be colostrum so no need to pump,just let baby latch on. Then maybe after first week I can use the pump in a way to stimulate supply.

I pumped for the first time this morning. Manage to get total 2oz . Then after about 4hours,I pumped again seems less and tend to bleed as well. Once I see a drop of blood,I stop pumping. This happen on both sides. From this session i got total 1.5 oz. Why is it bleeding? Is it because of no more milk then keep pumping will come out blood? Should I continue to pump after like 3 to 4hrs later? Or take a rest n try again tomorrow?

It's like pump till no more milk then it cones out blood straight I stop.
I think ill try to pump again tomorrow morning. Scared later really infection. Now it is soften d,ill wait till it engorged then I pump again.

Any good tips to share when wanna pump time can do to get more milk? I used spectra 3 ,I used lowest suction power also feel kinda pain. Is it because first time not used to it n feel pain.?

How to frozen breast milk? I should chill in refrigerator first then only shift to freezer? Or I can straight put in the freezer once pumped.? Is it ok to warm the ebm by soaking the bottle in a cup of hot water? Or everytime i need to use warmer to warm? I'm so afraid to feed ebm which is still cold.

I still have bout half packet of anmum materna,I can still finish drinking it as to supplement my breast milk right? Kinda waste to throw it away

How would the baby poo poo to be like if I fed him on formula n ebm.? He is just 10 days old . Yday poo is like curry colour,is not solid but in liquid form and it is kinda sticky . Is that normal?

My baby fed on fm n ebm alternately every 2hrs. We burp him each time after milk. But after some time he tend to spit out some milk. The milk looks like sticky n with saliva together. Sometimes spit quite a lot. What does this mean? Is he unwell or what? I know spitting a little bit is fine .

I just tried Joy Angel nursing tea，its content are those fenugreek n kennel seeds. I just drank not even a cup, immediately my period flush out. I'm on my confinement now,and my period has stop since my delivery 12 days ago. Even before pregnant,my period was not this scary n consider thick this time. Have anyone experience this?

He tend to spit quite a lot of milk . Especially when he try to poo poo to push time he will spit milk. Planning to bring him see doctor soon.

My friend's daugther coming to one month. and she have alot of red spots like rashes on her face. i see her picture, quite severe to me. The mother told that one of her friend as a doctor said it is normal for baby who breastfed to have rashes like that and it will somehow go off by time. the mother in law said is milk rashes but mommy itself thinks is like eczema.

The mother breastfeed the girl. she also mixed with formula because baby just cant get enough from mother. keep demanding. she also wondered if she did breastfeed the baby right way.

Questions here are:

1. Is it normal that baby to have rashes like that over her face? What actually causes the rashes?

2. How to relieve the rashes if so?

3. My friend would like to look for a breastfeeding consultation, where she should look for one?

She did apply some cream on it. It do relieve then it will come back I think this rashes has been around for two weeks d.

She doubt that whether thr baby did latch properly when feeding. Thats the reason she would like to seek for a consultation. And she said her baby will never get enough and mummy supply is low. Sometimes I heard that her nipples craxk quite bad too when the baby suck too much. Her baby feel cranky and wanted to latch. Then let her to latch on she will drink for few minutes and fall asleepp. She feels so comfortable when latching then asleep. As if like she needs a pacifier.
