bro... noob question here... is my engine vibrating means there is something to do with engine mounting? if not den wats engine mounting for?

If you feel a huge amount of vibrations through the chasis coming from the engine compartment, then yes chances are the mountings are out.

Usually, this happens when accelerating or even at idle.

Engine mounting is to dampen the vibrations of the engine, so that it doesn't vibrate through the car's chasis.
