Hi all, Please take a look at the attached picture and if you have had a similar lump before, or if you know what it is please tell me! I already have a doctor's appointment for next Monday but am a little worried. I noticed it about a week ago when I felt a slight discomfort behind my ear, and then the lump became bigger and redder. It is no longer sore, but I am not sure it is getting any smaller.
Sorry if you find it disgusting lol. Thanks.

Yeah I thought it could be that, but have no idea how that would look like. No pain in my right ear, nor any infection that I know off, but who knows my immune system could be fighting something?

Had it once and now it's gone. I'm pretty sure is not something serious. It will eventually go away. If you're still worried, get a doctor advice.

I have those quite often actually. It does hurt sometime but it'll disappear after a while. Nothing to worry.

I heard Malay called it "BISOL", maybe... la QUOTE Sapukan kapur sirih ke atas bisul yang tumbuh. Amalkan setiap hari, nescaya bisul cepat sembuh. other QUOTE Penawar Bisul
Kemudian tumbuk hingga hancur. Letakkan pada bisul sehingga ia kering. 5. Asah kulit buah delima yang basah. Campurkan dengan daun lidah buaya. Sapukan pada permukaan bisul. This post has been edited by Andi Honda: Oct 28 2010, 02:26 AM

Hopefully it goes away, and if it doesn't I will get a doctor to drain it or something. See how it goes. Thanks all!

it won't go away just like that. you need to poke it and let all the dirty stuffs out. anyway, it's harmless.
